Each account with 247Backup can hold between 500mb and 250gb of compressed data, with any number of users. The storage volume required and the number of users requiring backup are stated when you subscribe to 247Backup. It is more cost effective to create one account for all the users within one department, office or company than it is to create separate accounts for each user.
When an account is set up with multiple users, the account administrator will be able to assign storage volumes to each user individually – so if there are four people with one 5gb account, three can be assigned 1gb each, and the fourth 2gb.
When the account is close to its storage limit, you will receive an email from 247Backup advising you of the best course of action.
If you have any problems with your 247Backup account, simply go to www.247backup.co.uk/support, click on Submit a Query and fill in the online form. The query will be given a ticket number which will be emailed back to you. Tickets will be dealt with in order of receipt, and will all be responded to by our support team within one working day.
If you loose any data that you have backed up it can be restored quickly and easily at any time. Just open up 247Backup, click on the Restore tab, select the files you wish to reinstate, and click on the ‘Restore Now’ button. You can do as many online data restores as you want within the period of your subscription with no extra cost.
247Backup is extremely secure. By compressing the data and using military defence level Blowfish encryption, your backups are incredibly safe when travelling over the internet to the backup servers held in our secure data centre in Northampton.
The minimum term of contract for 247Backup is 12 months.
Payment can be made by direct debit, credit card, or by cheque. Payment is to be made monthly, quarterly or annually dependant on the volume of storage purchased. The larger the volume of storage, the more frequently you are able to pay.
